Awesome. Is it better to download now or wait a while until they sort out the bugs and security problems?

It's working fine for me. Just download it now. No harm done.

Ok I downloaded it. There's not much difference, but the new interface is way coo. Hopefully the spell check feature can increase literacy on this forum.

What memory leak?

They fixed several memory leaks. You might want to check your addons.

You also might be talking about the bfcache. IT takes its own memory to hold past information for a couple of pages per tab so that you can browse backward and forward quickly.

That can be disabled.

In Firefox type: About:Config and press enter

Search for: browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers

and set it to "0"

Now you have disabled bfcache and memory usage will decrease but at the cost of going backward and forward quickly.

Furthermore:

set config.trim_on_minimize to "True" and it will trim the memory usage when you minimize at the cost of restoring the window quickly.

There are other memory tweaks you can use to trim memory usage some more but it can have effects on browsing.

This page with firefox is only using 36 mb. The same page with I.E. is using 29 mb. Not much of a memory leak, IMO.

The author of that theme is very active and he will eventually update it. You can probably wait for him to do so.

"640K of memory should be enough for anybody"

So, who has downloaded IE7 yet? Ya think it would be safe considering all the exploits it likely has after release?
